Kappa Alpha Theta was founded in 1870 as the first Greek-letter fraternity for women. We value our history and take pride in our four founders, who were truly visionary. We also value what we offer today's women! Our vision statement- Kappa Alpha Theta is the organization that provides the finest and most rewarding membership experience- is based on our core purpose and values. Our purpose is to support members to learn, grow, and excel, and our core values are personal excellence, friendship/sisterhood, scholarship, service, and leadership.

PHILANTHROPY EVENT: STUDIO THETA

Studio Theta is Kappa Alpha Theta’s wellness philanthropy event benefiting Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). The event features an outdoor yoga sculpt class taught by a certified yoga instructor within our chapter. Studio Theta brings our community together through wellness while raising funds to support CASA’s mission of providing advocacy, consistency, and support for children experiencing abuse and neglect in the foster care system.

PHILANTHROPY EVENT: KATs AND DOGS

KATS and Dogs is a feel-good philanthropy event hosted by Kappa Alpha Theta in partnership with a local animal shelter. The event brings shelter dogs to Theta Field and provides attendees with the opportunity to support both Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) and the partnering animal shelter through on site donations, raising awareness for children in foster care and animal welfare within the community.

PHILANTHROPY EVENT: KICKS FOR CASA

Kicks for CASA is a soccer tournament we host every year for men to compete in to raise money for CASA! It's always a fun event that brings Greeks and non-Greeks together for such a great cause.
